The design considerations for a Free-standing greenhouse are the same as for any other shape. Scale and proportion, balanced with growing needs are considered at the same time.
The relationship of the greenhouse to the main house or host building on the property should be considered together.
Ease of access and distance from the main host structure are important as well. If the garden greenhouse is servicing the property’s landscaping as well as for pure personal enjoyment its location should be considered relative to those activities.
